Faculty feedback needed on student disability accommodations process

Submitted by Jason Maseberg-Tomlinson

The Kansas State University Student Access Center and the Office of Institutional Equity are working in partnership to put on a presentation this fall regarding the accommodation process for students.

The goal of the presentation is to help faculty feel more comfortable asking questions of the two offices. This presentation will take place over Zoom and be available for all K-State faculty. The format will include a presentation on disability law, accessibility and the accommodation process, followed by time for questions and discussion. As the offices prepare for this workshop, they want to better understand what faculty need and want to know about accommodations.

K-State faculty members are invited to complete the Accommodation Process Faculty Survey. Feedback will help to guide the fall presentation.
