Legislative Update
The regular Kansas legislative veto session adjourned Thursday, April 28. The Legislature will reconvene on May 23.
Before the Legislature returned, the governor signed the base budget. During the recently concluded veto session, the Legislature passed the Omnibus spending bill. The chart below reflects the omnibus additions and adjustments to the base budget. The omnibus budget recommendations can be found here.
