Saucier to present 'Achieving (and Demonstrating) Excellence in Teaching' today

Don Saucier, university distinguished teaching scholar, professor of psychological sciences and faculty associate director of the Teaching and Learning Center, will lead off the center's professional development series at noon Wednesday, Aug. 24, via Zoom.
Saucier will present "Achieving (and Demonstrating) Excellence in Teaching."
Saucier will share his teaching philosophy as a model and will share his ideas about how to develop your own excellent and unique teaching philosophies. He will talk about how to demonstrate your teaching excellence in teaching statements that you would craft as part of your job applications. He will also talk about how you can demonstrate your teaching excellence for merit evaluations, in tenure and promotion materials and in applications for teaching awards.
