Today: Sam Eaton to share his story of survival
The Morrison Family Center for Student Well-being is bringing a special speaker to campus today for National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.
Sam Eaton will share his story of survival at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, in Forum Hall on the first floor of the K-State Student Union.
Eaton found his world slipping away and, in a moment of extreme clarity, made the terrifying decision to stay and chase a life that is fully and recklessly alive.
Eaton is an author, speaker and founder of Recklessly Alive, a suicide prevention organization sprinting toward a world with zero deaths by suicide.
The event is free to attend and open to the public.
