Research Administrators Council quarterly meeting Oct. 11
The Research Administrators Council will have its quarterly meeting from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Oct. 11, via Zoom.
We will view a webinar from the National Council on University Research Administrators, "In-N-Out: Here's What PI Transfers Are All About." The presentation includes important steps to take when a principal investigator moves between institutions and how each institution has different roles in the transfer. Some topics covered include sponsor requirements, setting an official date of transfer, closing out financials at the prior institution, equipment transfers, potential subawards, progress reports, notices of relinquishment, compliance issues, establishing new awards, checklist templates and more.
Updates from the offices of PreAward Services, Sponsored Programs Accounting and Vice President for Research will also be provided.
A Zoom link and password will be sent out on the council's listserv. All in the university community are welcome. Please contact Laura Hohenbary at laura8@k-state.edu for the Zoom link if you are not on the listserv and plan to attend.
