Piano students win state competition
Submitted by School of Music, Theatre, and Dance
Andrew Wilson and Jordyn Allen, seniors in piano performance, won awards at the annual Kansas Music Teachers Association State Collegiate Auditions, which took place on the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence on Oct. 30.
Wilson won the first prize, and Jordyn Allen was awarded the third prize.
Both pianists are students of Slawomir Dobrzanski at the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
