Maggi Denton obtains ADA coordinator certification
Human Capital Services announces that Maggi MB Denton has been assigned as deputy ADA coordinator. Her new title will be deputy ADA coordinator/leave specialist.
Denton has committed the last year of her tenure to immerse herself in the ADA world through shadowing, case management and ADA trainings. Denton obtained her ADA coordinator certificate from the University of Missouri in February 2023.
On several occasions, Denton has shared with Charlotte Self, director of employee relations and engagement/ADA coordinator, "This world of leave and accommodations is truly my passion, and I take great pride in the assistance I’m able to provide employees at K-State."
Denton shows great skill, diligence and heart as she gives care to every individual accommodation request. In her specialty, Denton not only manages ADA accommodation requests but also coordinates workers' compensation claims, provides guidance on FMLA situations and interprets other leave policies.
