Kansas Board of Regents April meeting university updates

Consent agenda
The Regents approved academic calendars for state universities for academic years 2025-2026, 2026-2027 and 2027-2028.
The Regents approved K-State's request for an additional $75,000 allocation from the Building Demolition Fund appropriated by the state to complete demolition of the Greenhouse D Conservatory at the Kansas State University Gardens.
Discussion agenda
Thomas Lane, vice president for student life and dean of students, gave an update on K-State's implementation of the National Institute of Student Success recommendations.
The board received the first read and discussed capital improvements requests for fiscal year 2025 and five-year plans.
