Submitted by Adam Carr

The LGBTQ* Faculty Staff Alliance, or LBGTQ* FSA, is excited about another successful year on campus and wishes to extend an invitation to join this semester.

The alliance is a collection of both classified and unclassified K-State employees and graduate students whose mission is to support and advocate for sexuality and gender identity-based issues on the Kansas State University campus while building a strong sense of community for its members. The alliance hosts monthly meetings during the semester, along with fun social events as a way to discuss current issues, collaborate across the campus and build a strong network of colleagues and friends.

How to get involved:

  • Email an executive board member and ask to be added to our LGBTQ+ FSA listserv to learn about upcoming events and other opportunities for campus engagement.
  • Follow LBGTQ* FSA on Instagram, @ksu_lgbtq.fsa.
  • Join for our monthly meetings and socials. Our first meeting is Thursday, Sept. 14, from 12-1 p.m. in the Multicultural Student Center's Oneok Room, Room 120. To receive the Zoom Link, please email one of the three co-chairs mentioned below.

The LGBTQ* FSA looks forward to seeing you at the next event!

For additional information on how to get connected, please contact one of the three co-chairs: Adam Carr, arcarr@k-state.edu; Rachel Levitt, levitt@k-state.edu; or Mariya Vaughan, mbjv@k-state.edu.
