IDEAll week continues with Playback Theatre

Submitted by the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance

As part of the School of Music, Theatre and Dance's IDEALL Week, Playback Theatre will take place at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, in Chapman Theatre at Nichols Hall.

Playback Theatre is a unique, improvisational form of theatre with music that invites audience members to share stories from their lives and watch them enacted or "played back" by the actors on the spot.

Playback is a method of community building, helping audience members share their commonalities as well as their diversities.

Most performances begin with an explicit theme and audience members bring responses, experiences and stories that will develop that thread.

IDEAll Week 2024 celebrates wellness in its many forms with funding support from the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies. Learn more about IDEAll Week
