Memorial service for physics office manager Peggy Matthews
Details have been announced for the visitation and memorial service of Peggy Matthews, former longtime office manager for the K-State physics department this week. Matthews passed away unexpectedly in Manhattan on February 15.
The visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22. The memorial service is at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23. Both will be held at Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home located at 1616 Poyntz Avenue in Manhattan.
Matthews retired from K-State in 2019 after a 47-year career at K-State, of which 36 years were spent in physics.
