The New Faculty Institute will host a hybrid event from 8-9:20 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, in Room 201 of the Leadership Studies Building or on Zoom.

This professional development event will provide an opportunity for faculty to learn about resources and opportunities to support their research while enjoying breakfast and time for networking and socializing.

Though the New Faculty Institute provides programing aimed to support faculty in their first three years at K-State, all faculty are invited to attend this event.

Join us for breakfast and networking starting at 8 a.m. A spread of pastries, a deconstructed yogurt parfait and coffee will be available.

From 8:30-9:20 a.m., university research leaders David Rosowsky, vice president for research; Beth Montelone, senior associate vice president in the Office of Research Development; and Paul Lowe, associate vice president of PreAward Services, will share their expertise and answer your questions.

We encourage you to take a look at the faculty resources section of the Office of Research website and consider what questions you have about support and opportunities that will promote your research agenda and facilitate your success at K-State.

RSVP by Monday, March 18. When you RSVP, a space is available for you to ask questions in advance so the research team can be prepared to provide you with a robust answer. There will be opportunities for spontaneous questions, too.

The New Faculty Institute is a program hosted by the Teaching and Learning Center for new faculty in their first three years at K-State. The New Faculty Institute provides networking and professional development opportunities to assist new faculty in becoming successful educators and researchers at Kansas State University.
