Submitted by Joseph Pondillo

The Native American Student Body and the American Indian Science and Engineering Society will host a beadwork workshop at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, in rooms 204/205 of the Multicultural Student Center.

Discover the art and history of Native American beadwork in the Native American Student Body's Contemporary Beadwork Basics Workshop. Learn intricate designs on a small canvas, exploring unique styles and symbolic meanings within Indigenous communities.

This workshop imparts lessons in patience, determination and precision while connecting participants to nature through natural materials. Dive into the symbolism and storytelling in beadwork designs, gaining insights into cultural narratives.

To attend, please RSVP online or scan the QR code on the flyer below.

This event was made possible by the generous support of the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies.
