Graduate students

  • K-State Strengths Graduate Assistant | The graduate assistant will support the K-State Strengths Initiative at the Staley School of Leadership. The CliftonStrengths for students' assessment is used campus-wide to increase engagement and well-being for students. This position will assist the program director by executing programming, logistics, promotion, and communications for K-State's Strengths initiative.
  • K-State Leadership and Service Programs Graduate Assistant | This role will support K-State Leadership and Service Programs, with a primary focus on coordinating ‘Cats Connect, Wildcat Dialogues, and the What Matters to Me and Why Speaker Series. This role will assist the program director in planning, executing, and evaluating these initiatives while also contributing to the broader portfolio of leadership and service-based programs at the Staley School.
  • Leadership and Service Programs Graduate Assistant | This role will support Leadership and Service Programs, with a primary focus on coordinating Service Teams—Alternative Breaks and International Service Teams. This role will assist the program director in planning, executing, and evaluating these initiatives while also contributing to the broader portfolio of leadership and service-based programs at the Staley School.
  • Scholar Development and Undergraduate Research Graduate Assistant | This graduate assistant will support undergraduate research promotion, programming, assessment, and communication for Scholar Development and Undergraduate Research (SDUR) at the Staley School of Leadership. This role also will have the opportunity to support the undergraduate research component of the Applied Learning imperative, which is an ambitious and exciting part of the Next-Gen K-State strategic plan. The office maintains a website, a social media presence, distributes flyers, creates programs for events, develops stories on scholarship winners, develops a newsletter, contributes to assessment and reporting and engages in other ways to raise awareness about its services and achievements. The graduate assistant also provides support for events as needed.
  • Third Floor Research Graduate Assistant | Third Floor Research is a research and evaluation center housed at the Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) and in partnership with the Staley School of Leadership at Kansas State University. Third Floor Research works to enhance KLC's impact and stimulate innovation in the fields of leadership development and civic engagement. This work includes: Broadening the reach and impact of KLC's leadership development and civic engagement initiatives; Improving program content and outcomes for leadership development and civic engagement programs, and; Contributing to the fields of leadership development and civic engagement.
