Responsibilities
As the graduate assistant for K-State Leadership Programs, I am responsible for helping coordinate 'Cats Connect, Wildcat Dialogues, and What Matters to Me and Why. Through each of these programs, I am able to help build connections across campus, as well as create an inclusive environment where everyone is able to feel a sense of belonging.
- Collaborate with co-directors of programs to plan and execute logistics and programmatic initiatives
- Drive stakeholder engagement by providing communication and support to build and maintain relationships with campus partners
- Co-facilitate peer leader training for small group facilitators
One of the first things taught in the Staley School of Leadership is that leadership is a relationship. Students, faculty, and staff are able to practice their leadership skills as a relationship through the programs that I help organize!
