Chuck Warta
Operating Partner at Lewis and Clark Agrifood Fund, Board Member and Retired Cargill Executive
Chuck Warta has more than three decades of international business experience working for Cargill, focused in agriculture, animal nutrition, and leading in the global food system. His work included leadership as the President of Cargill Health Technologies and President of Cargill Premix and Nutrition globally, with operations in +25 countries and customers in +100 countries. He retired from Cargill in 2022 and today serves as an Operating Partner with Lewis & Clark Agrifood Fund.
In addition to the work with Cargill, Warta serves on the board of international NGOs like Heifer International and at Kansas State University Foundation Board of Trustees. He holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture economics from K-State, and was named the K-State College of Agriculture Alumni Fellow in 2018.
