Rhodes Scholarship
Award Details
Rhodes Scholarships provide all expenses for two or three years of study at the University of Oxford in England. Rhodes Scholarships are among the most celebrated international fellowship awards in the world, and Scholars are chosen not only for their outstanding scholarly achievements (3.9-4.0 GPA), but for their character, commitment to others and to the common good, and for their potential for leadership in whatever domains their careers may lead.
Eligibility
US Rhodes Scholars must be:
- a citizen of the United States OR a lawful permanent resident of the United States OR a U.S. resident with DACA status on April 15 in the year of application.
- eligible to apply through one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, or one of the U.S. territories: either in the state or territory where the applicant was legally resident on April 15 in the year of application, or where the applicant will have received at least two years of college training and a bachelor’s degree before October 1 in the year following election.
- between the ages of 18-24 (age 25 at the time of entry to Oxford), or up to a maximum age of 28 years old if they have completed their first undergraduate degree within the last 2 years.
