Applied Learning Ambassadors
Join in the effort to scale applied learning experiences to all students by 2030! Apply to become an Applied Learning Ambassador.
Applied Learning Ambassadors will play an integral role in making applied learning available to all learners at Kansas State University. Ambassadors will promote applied learning through sharing their own experiences, working to define applied learning across the university community, and will staff sponsored events. The team will offer strategic insight on imperative goals, offering student perspectives to steering committees. Ambassadors will serve a one-year term, selected late in the spring semester.
Ambassador Responsibilities
Here's what AL Ambassadors do:
- Promote applied learning opportunities on social media
- Attend sponsored events
- Offer strategic insights to university steering committees
- Attend monthly meetings
- Engage with students and spreading the word about ALE and how it can benefit their education

The Applied Learning Ambassadors will be a group of learners from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences. Expect to work with a team of people representing the following:
- Each academic college, a variety of undergraduate majors, minors, certificates
- Physical and online campuses
- Various clubs, organizations, and interests
- Traditional, nontraditional, and transfer paths to degree completion
- In-state, out-of-state, and international populations
After submitting the linked Qualtrics form, a group of finalists will be selected for interviews. Mark these important dates on your calendar. Apply by Monday, March 24. Once finalists are selected, interviews will be held within 2 weeks.
