Service Opportunities

Looking for service opportunities? Look no further than the Staley School of Leadership for these experiences and more!

The types of service and the time committments vary, so you can choose an opportunity that works for you.

One Day

Mobile Food Distributions

  • Fridays This Spring: Jan. 24, Feb. 14, March 7, April 11
  • Volunteers distribute food with HandsOn Kansas State.

MLK Day of Service

  • Saturday, Jan. 25
  • Volunteers will serve at one of several locations across Manhattan, Kansas.
  • Event details will be added as they become available to Facebook and the University calendar.

Two-Five Days

Alternative Breaks

Volunteers will travel together in teams to serve within communities on various service projects.

  • Nov. 15-16: La Harpe, KS or Allen County, KS
  • Jan. 12-15 (winter break): Kansas City, MO; Garden City, KS; or Springfield, MO
  • March 15-19 (spring break): Tahlequah, OK; or Dallas, TX

Three-Four Weeks

International Service Teams
