History
Renamed in 2005 for legendary Wildcat football coach Bill Snyder, this stadium opened in 1968 to replace the inadequate facilities of old Memorial Stadium. Student fees, athletic ticket revenues and donor contributions covered the $1.6 million construction cost. The field was renamed Wagner Field in 1991 to honor J. David Wagner, a resident of Dodge City, who provided funds for new turf.
