Held on the east lawn of Kedzie Hall at the beginning of each fall semester, Kedziepalooza promotes programs, activities and curriculum of the A.Q. Miller School.
Designed to welcome incoming freshmen, the event began in 2012. “We want to make them understand that we are a family, and that we value every student that walks through our door,” said Jean Folkerts, former interim director of the school.
Students meet to enjoy food, contests, prizes and to engage with the many student organizations available to them.
Participating student media, teams and organizations include Ad Club, KSDB Wildcat 91.9, KKSU-TV Channel 8, Debate Team, Collegian Media Group, Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), Speech Team, Mock Trial and many more.
The event is hosted by the K-State Media and Communication student ambassadors each fall.
