What process models do ICDD facilitators use?
As a member of the National Coalition for Dialogue & Deliberation (NCDD), ICDD employs and adapts process models for facilitation that meet specific goals of public conversation. These goals have been described by NCDD in an Engagement Streams Framework featuring four generic purposes: Exploration, Conflict Transformation, Decision-making, and Collaborative Action . The following are a few examples of process models ICDD facilitators have used along with their generic purpose:
