Huck Boyd National Center for Community Media

Founded in 1990 to serve and strengthen news media in small towns, the center sponsors the annual Huck Boyd Lecture which emphasizes the combination of communication and community.

ICDD K-State Logo

Formed in 2004, the ICDD engages in research, education, and facilitation of civic conversations to promote greater citizen participation through deliberation and dialogue.

IRSM logo

IRSM is a non-profit research organization that produces original knowledge about how individuals, organizations, issues and events are represented in society and media, and provides publicly available training in media literacy and engagement.

Journalism Education Association Logo

JEA serves to support, train, and celebrate journalism educators, including national conventions for teachers and students in partnership with National Scholastic Press.
