Biographical Information
Faridah graduated Nasarawa State University with a B.A (Hons). in Language/Linguistics. I am currently a graduate student in the M.A. Communication Studies program. Faridah is also a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Instructor of K-State’s public speaking courses in the A.Q. Miller School of Media and Communications.
Research
Faridah’s research is primarily focused on the intersection of Health Communications and Social Norms in Nigeria.
Career
Faridah is committed to changing the Poor Health Narrative around public health through an educational lens. Faridah believes that rather than attending classes for grades, we can also develop skills, experiences, and mastery. Upon completion of her master's degree, Faridah wishes to continue her service as an expert communicator in the health sector.
