Biographical Information
Javier graduated with a B.S. in Communication Studies from K-State. He is currently a graduate student in the M.A. Communication Studies program. Javier is also a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Instructor of K-State’s public speaking courses. Outside of classes, Javier is broadcasting sports via radio or making social media content for the Kansas State School of Business.
Career
Javier loves communication, social media, and Spanish translation. In addition to being a Graduate Student and Instructor of Public Speaking, Javier does color commentary in Spanish for the Kansas State Wildcats via Tico Sports & Marketing and Communications for the Kansas State Business Building.
Tico Sports – Spanish Color Commentator for the Kansas State Wildcats. Often this sport (football) and others are not broadcasted in Spanish, Javier is able to be a solution to that problem. Javier’s role at Tico Sports helps him connect the Spanish-speaking community with the English game of Football.
Kansas State College of Business – Javier works in a team of three for the Dean's office in the Business Building. Javier helps create material for the College of Business social media accounts. Additionally, Javier also covers a variety of events for the College of Business via photography/videography.
