MANHATTAN — Often called the Monty Python of the music world, Mnozil Brass will perform their anniversary concert at Kansas State University’s McCain Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 2.
Mnozil Brass has entertained fans for 30 years with comedic brilliance, sensational programs and impeccable playing. To celebrate this momentous anniversary, Mnozil Brass created the Jubilee tour featuring new works and their greatest hits.
The Austrian band seamlessly combines slapstick comedy with extraordinary musical ability. An evening with Mnozil Brass is an over-the-top fun, virtuosic and laugh-out-loud experience. Mnozil Brass has established itself as one of the world’s premier brass ensembles. With over 130 performances a year, the group plays to sold-out houses worldwide and captivates audiences with their blend of immense talent and theatrical wit.
Tickets are available online at mccain.k-state.edu or at the ticket office in the McCain lobby from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays. Tickets are also available by phone at 785-532-6428 during the same hours. Tickets for youth 17 and younger are half price for this show. Discounted tickets to this show are also available for K-State faculty and staff, individuals 62 and older, and members of the military. Original IDs will be required to obtain discounts — third-party, photocopied or web-based IDs are not accepted.
