Stolen property recovered on campus, student arrested
MANHATTAN -- A Kansas State University student was arrested after university police recovered more than $2,000 in stolen property following a search warrant that was served in the student housing area on campus.
The arrest was a result of an ongoing investigation of burglaries in campus offices. The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available. Arrested in the case was 22-year-old Jared A. Hardinger.
Hardinger was arrested on the following charges: burglary, theft, criminal damage to property, possession of marijuana and computer crime.
