Futures by design: Expo helps students make career connections

MANHATTAN — Future employment plans are being created by Kansas State University College of APDesign and graphic design students.
Fifty firms, agencies and organizations will be on campus from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, April 7, to discuss full-time positions and internships with students at the university's Design Expo. The expo will take place at the K-State Alumni Center Ballroom. Several organizations will stay following the event for same-day interviews.
Firms and agencies represented include: Treanor Architects, Lawrence; 505 Design, Boulder, Colo.; tvsdesign, Atlanta, Ga.; Populous Group and 360 Architecture Inc., both from Kansas City, Mo.; Canon Design, St. Louis, Mo.; Perkins Eastman, New York, N.Y.; SWA Group Inc., Houston, Texas; KI, Green Bay, Wis., and many more.
