Superstar trumpeter comes to Kansas State University's McCain Performance Series

MANHATTAN — Chris Botti, the Grammy Award-winning trumpeter, comes to Kansas State University's McCain Performance Series at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, in McCain Auditorium.
Considered one of the most innovative figures of the contemporary music world, Botti and his music begin in jazz and expand beyond the limits of any single genre. His latest album, "Impressions," won the Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Album in 2013.
Botti has played to packed houses worldwide and sold more than 3 million albums. He's recorded, toured and performed with such artists as Sting, Paul Simon, Barbara Streisand, Josh Groban, Yo-Yo M, Michael Bublé, John Mitchell, John Mayer, Andrea Bocelli, Natalie Cole, Buddy Rich and Joshua Bell.
