THE K-STATE DEPARTMENT OF MUSIC OFFERING SOME SPECIAL MUSIC PERFORMANCES TO ROUND OUT THE SCHOOL YEAR
MANHATTAN -- The Kansas State University department of music will present four performances during the first week of May as the 2008-2009 academic year comes to a close.
All of the events are free and open to the public. They include:
* The music theory class composition recital at 5:45 p.m. Monday, May 4, in All Faiths Chapel.
* The K-State Concert Band, conducted by Anthony Pursell, at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 4, in McCain Auditorium.
* The K-State University Band, conducted by Frank Tracz, and the K-State University Choir, conducted by Joshua Oppenheim and Julie Yu-Oppenheim, joint concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, in All Faiths Chapel.
* The Phi Mu Alpha American Music Recital at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, in All Faiths Chapel.
