K-STATE LANDON LECTURE BY JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF CHAIR ADM. MULLEN POSTPONED
MANHATTAN -- The Landon Lecture at Kansas State University by Adm. Michael G. Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has been postponed at the admiral's request, according to Charles Reagan, chair of the Landon Lecture Series.
Mullen was to have presented his lecture Monday, Aug. 31.
"We will be working with Adm. Mullen and his staff to arrange a new date for his lecture. We know he is very much looking forward to coming to K-State," said Reagan, who serves as chief of staff and deputy to the K-State president.
Still on as scheduled is the Landon Lecture by Kansas native Sheila C. Bair, who is chair of the FDIC. Her lecture will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, in McCain Auditorium.
