WILDCAT WINS EMMY
MANHATTAN -- A Wildcat has won an Emmy Award.
Eric Stonestreet, a 1996 K-State alum, received the Emmy for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy at the Emmy Awards ceremony Aug. 29.
Stonestreet won for his role as Cameron Tucker in ABC's "Modern Family."
While at K-State, Stonestreet was active in K-State Theater productions, appearing in "All My Sons" and "Twelfth Night."
It's not the first time a Wildcat has won an Emmy. Former K-Stater Kirstie Alley has won two Emmy awards for her television work.
