Legendary guitarist Brian Setzer brings holiday show to McCain Auditorium

MANHATTAN -- The Brian Setzer Orchestra's Christmas Rocks! 10th Anniversary Tour!! comes to Kansas State University's McCain Auditorium at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, as part of the McCain Performance Series.
With a career that has spanned more than 30 years of chart-topping hits, Setzer has found great success as a solo artist, with his band The Stray Cats and his 18-piece Brian Setzer Orchestra.
The orchestra's Christmas concert will include Setzer's legendary guitar skills on hits such as "Rock this Town," "Stray Cat Strut" and "Jump, Jive and Wail," among others.
Setzer, a three-time Grammy Award winner, is known for innovative and daring musical styles. He also is credited with reviving the genres of rockabilly and swing music in the 1980s and 1990s. Recently, Setzer has found success in redefining Christmas music. He has three best-selling holiday albums along with his annual Christmas tour.
