CELEBRATED BROADWAY MUSICAL 'ANNIE' TO HIT THE STAGE AT K-STATE'S MCCAIN AUDITORIUM
MANHATTAN -- "Annie," one of America's best-known musicals, will make a touring stop at Kansas State University's McCain Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24.
An orphan, Annie, and her dog Sandy are placed in the lap of luxury for a week as part of a publicity campaign for Oliver Warbucks. However, Annie's stay turns out to be much more than anyone had bargained for as she works her way into everyone's hearts and learns a few things for herself.
"Annie," which has entertained audiences for generations, boasts one of Broadway's most unforgettable scores, including "It's a Hard-Knock Life," "Easy Street" and "Tomorrow." The performance is a theatrical experience for the entire family to enjoy.
Tickets for "Annie" are on sale now. Prices start at $17.50 for K-State students and $35 for the general public. Discounts for K-State faculty, children and military also are available. Tickets can be purchased at the McCain Auditorium box office, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, or by calling 785-532-6428. More information is available online at http://www.k-state.edu/mccain/
