NEWS TIP: K-STATE GEOGRAPHY PROFESSOR WHO STUDIES LATINO COMMUNITIES AVAILABLE AS SOURCE FOR COVERAGE OF 2010 CENSUS
MANHATTAN -- For news coverage related to the 2010 census that gets under way in March, Kansas State University has a researcher available to discuss cultural and ethnic change in Latino communities throughout the Great Plains and Rocky Mountains.
Jeffrey Smith is an associate professor of cultural geography, and his research includes Topeka's Oakland neighborhood and communities in southwest Kansas.
