MAKE IT A 'TAPPY' VALENTINE'S DAY AND SEND A TAP-A-GRAM
MANHATTAN -- Love and the sound of tap dancing are in the air at Kansas State University for Valentine's Day.
K-State's tap dance ensemble is offering Happy Valentine's Day Tap-A-Grams all day, Monday, Feb. 14, as a fundraiser for the group. No set fee is required for a tap-a-gram, but a $10 donation is suggested.
"What a great way to tell someone that you love them," said Julie Pentz, ensemble director and associate professor of dance at K-State. "It's easy to send a tap-a-gram to a friend or family member."
Tap-a-grams can be delivered on campus or in the Manhattan community. Ensemble members will travel with a portable tap dance floor to perform a short routine for the recipient of your choice.
The group also offers E-Tap-A-Grams for friends or family members who don't live in the area. Simply provide the e-mail address of the recipient, and the ensemble will send them an electronic tap-a-gram greeting.
