Circus Oz and 'But Wait…There's More' comes to McCain Feb. 17

MANHATTAN — Australia's national circus, Circus Oz, is coming to Kansas State University, via the McCain Auditorium stage, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb 17.
With a mix of stunt-jumping acrobatics, juggling, unicycling, trapeze flying, the Rou Cyr rim, impersonations, knockabouts and multiskilled human physical exuberance, the Circus Oz show "But Wait…There's More" uses the circus to satirize the rising tide of information, speed, consumerism, visual pollution, television, the Internet, and today's manic and fast-paced lifestyles. All of this is set to original music performed by Circus Oz's live and acrobatic band.
Performed within a large-scale set, inspired by an abandoned theatre in tatters, "But Wait…There's More" is a fast-paced, vaudeville-inspired show for audiences of all ages.
Tickets start at $22.50, plus applicable taxes and fees, and are available now at the McCain Auditorium box office, online at http://www.k-state.edu/mccain, or by calling 785-532-6428.
