Ana Gasteyer brings comedy, song, fun to McCain Performance Series shows

MANHATTAN — Enjoy an evening with actress and comedienne Ana Gasteyer at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at the Wareham Opera House, 410 Poyntz Ave., Manhattan. The shows are part of Kansas State University's McCain Performance Series.
Gasteyer is best known for her work on "Saturday Night Live" where, during her six-year stretch, she created some of the shows most famous characters: Cinder Calhoun, Bobbi Moughan-Culp and more. Her impressions of Barbara Streisand, Hillary Clinton and Martha Stewart have had audiences laughing for years, and her voice has enchanted audiences since she played the lead in a Chicago production of "Wicked" in 2005. Gasteyer's Wareham show will be a mix of comedy, vocal performance and entertainment.
