Concealed carry four-year exemption granted for Kansas State University
Tuesday, July 2, 2013
MANHATTAN -- As of July 1, Kansas State University is part of the four-year concealed carry exemption period. The four-year exemption now allows the university to evaluate adequate security measures, costs and staffing needed for the new law.
Along with the four-year exemption are new signs that have been posted that specifically identify the exemption. The Kansas State University weapons policy remains unchanged during this period. The policy is available at http://www.k-state.edu/policies/ppm/3700/3770.html.
