STUDENTS AT K-STATE AT SALINA EARN HONORS FOR OUTSTANDING WORK

SALINA --

Students earning recognition include:

Kansas State University at Salina has recognized several students with awards for outstanding academic achievements, writing skills, dedication, leadership or community service in the 2009-2010 school year.

Ben Noble, senior in engineering technology, Belleville, Outstanding Student In Construction Engineering; Chance Haddon, senior in engineering technology, Ellinwood, outstanding Student in Computer Systems Technology; Shae Blackwell, senior in family studies and human service, Hanston, Most Inspirational Student of the Year; Carol Cooper, sophomore in professional pilot, Hutchinson, Wildcat Pride for Determination; Justin McKnight, senior in aviation maintenance, Lindsborg, Outstanding Student in Aviation Maintenance.

From Salina: Paul Bijonowski, senior in engineering technology, Outstanding Student in Mechanical Engineering Technology; Kelly James Brown, senior in technology management, Outstanding Student in Technology Management; Thomas Burke, junior in biology, Outstanding Student in Chemistry; Alan Hoover, senior in engineering technology, third place Expository Writing Award; Roger Holter, senior in engineering technology, Outstanding Student in Electronic and Computer Engineering Technology and second place Expository Writing Award; Bryan Hurlbut, senior in technology management, first place Expository Writing Award; and Morgan Miles, sophomore in applied business, Wildcat Pride for Community Service.
