K-STATE AT SALINA'S WRITING CENTER TO HOST CONSORTIUM FOR FACULTY, STAFF FROM COLLEGE WRITING CENTERS IN KANSAS

SALINA -- The Kansas Consortium of the Midwest Writing Center Association will meet 1-4 p.m. Friday, March 26, in the College Center Conference Room at Kansas State University at Salina.

Faculty and staff from all Kansas universities and community colleges are invited to attend.

Networking and discussion will focus on professional development and support within the state and Midwest region. In-service training on Myers-Briggs personality profiles in peer tutor relationships will be conducted.

Interested individuals and institutions can register to attend by contacting Patricia Ackerman at ackerman@k-state.edu.

Ackerman, an associate professor of language arts at K-State at Salina and director of the K-State at Salina Writing Center, is Kansas liaison to the Midwest Writing Center Association's board of directors.
