Authorities determine no safety concern during search in residence hall

MANHATTAN -- Riley County Police executing a search warrant at Kansas State University's Haymaker Hall on Monday, March 11, determined there was not a safety concern.
Offers were equipped with personal protective equipment, however, in case they had to handle hazardous substances.
Officers were conducting the search as part of an ongoing investigation. They found no materials posing a risk to residents' safety. Residents were asked to leave their rooms but were allowed to remain in the floor's common area during the search.
