K-STATE'S COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE HONORS OUTSTANDING STUDENTS
MANHATTAN -- Kansas State University's College of Agriculture recently recognized outstanding students at the college's annual Ag Awards Assembly.
Among the students being honored included the college's outstanding seniors. College of Agriculture students of the month for the school year also were recognized, with each receiving a $100 scholarship sponsored by Kansas Farm Bureau. One of the students of the month also was named the college's student of the year and received the $500 Douglas C. Weyer Scholarship in Agriculture. In addition, recipients of the American Society of Animal Science awards, presented to outstanding seniors, juniors and sophomores in animal sciences and industry, were honored.
