Students selected for special roles at university's commencement ceremonies

MANHATTAN —At Kansas State University's commencement ceremonies May 7, 13 and 14, several students will be featured as speakers, vocalists and musicians.
• Emily Harris, bachelor's candidate in agribusiness, Abilene, will be the reflections speaker for the College of Agriculture commencement ceremony.
• Kurt Lockwood, Caney, bachelor's candidate in agricultural economics, will be give the student address at the College of Agriculture commencement ceremony.
• Justin Haun, Fall River, bachelor's candidate in elementary education, will be the student speaker at commencement for the College of Education.
• Ian Bonsall, will present the student address and be the student marshal at commencement for Kansas State University Polytechnic Campus. Bonsall is vice president of the Student Governing Association at Kansas State Polytechnic and a junior in aeronautical technology, Goodland.
• Taylor Fry, senior in marketing, Great Bend, will be the vocalist at commencement for the College of Business Administration.
• Rachael Gros, senior in music education, Great Bend, will be the musician at commencement for the Graduate School.
• Shawna Cikanek, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine candidate, Hutchinson, will give the student address at the College of Veterinary Medicine ceremony. Cikanek is president of the college's 2016 class.
• Madison Moore, senior in applied music, Iuka, will be the vocalist at the Graduate School commencement ceremony.
Stephen Kucera, Kansas City, senior in applied music and accounting, will be the musician at the College of Veterinary Medicine, College of Education, College of Business Administration, College of Agriculture and College of Human Ecology commencement ceremonies.
• Rachel Hunt, senior in music, Manhattan, will be the vocalist at commencement ceremonies for the College of College of Education and College of Human Ecology.
• Tucker Jones, master's student in psychology, Manhattan, will provide the Graduate Student Council greetings at commencement for the Graduate School. Jones is president of the Graduate Student Council.
• Ethan Pauls, bachelor's candidate in electrical engineering, Manhattan, will be the vocalist at commencement for the College of Engineering.
• Wesley Moore, master's candidate in landscape architecture, Newton, will be the student speaker at commencement for the College of Architecture, Planning & Design.
• R.J. Leonard, bachelor's candidate in music education, Overland Park, will be the vocalist at commencement for the College of Arts & Sciences.
• Faith Rasmussen, bachelor's candidate in food science and industry, Salina, will be the vocalist at commencement for the College of Agriculture.
• Ryan Pachta, bachelor's candidate in mechanical engineering, Wamego, will be the student speaker at commencement for the College of Engineering.
• Vanessa Bowen, Santa Rosa, California, bachelor's candidate in kinesiology, will present the student address at commencement for the College of Human Ecology.
• Justice Davis, bachelor's candidate in marketing, Kansas City, Missouri, will present the student remarks at commencement for the College of Business Administration.
• Vincent Carlisle, doctoral candidate in educational leadership, Parkville, Missouri, will be the reader at the Graduate School commencement ceremony.
• Zachary Manuel, master's candidate in interior architecture & product design, St. Louis, Missouri, will be the student speaker at commencement for the College of Architecture, Planning & Design.
• Lindsey Leardi, master's candidate in architecture, Metuchen, New Jersey, will be the student speaker at commencement for the College of Architecture, Planning & Design.
• Jessica Weber, master's candidate in regional & community planning, Crowley, Texas, will be the student speaker at commencement for the College of Architecture, Planning & Design.
