K-STATE ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS FROM THE KANSAS CITY ARCHITECTURAL FOUNDATION AND AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS
MANHATTAN -- Six Kansas State University students in the College of Architecture, Planning and Design have been awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships from the Kansas City Architectural Foundation and regional chapters of the American Institute of Architects.
The Kansas City Architectural Foundation and American Institute of Architects award scholarships to acknowledge academic excellence.
K-State students receiving the scholarships include:
Lauren Sanderson, fifth-year architecture student, Leavenworth, Kansas City Architectural Foundation Scholarship, $2,000, and the National American Institute of Architects Scholarship, $2,000; Kelsey Vusich, second-year architecture student, Overland Park, Kansas City Architectural Foundation Scholarship, $2,000; Jeffrey Snyder, third-year architecture student, Valley Center, American Institute of Architects Kansas, $1,000; and Jason Ragan, fourth-year architecture student, Wichita, American Institute of Architects, $1,000.
From Missouri: Alex Callow, second-year architecture student, Graham, Kansas City Architectural Foundation Scholarship, $2,000; and Ian Orlando, fourth-year architecture student, St. Louis, American Institute of Architects St. Louis, $1,000.
