Wichita's Hogue to be student commencement speaker for College of Human Ecology
MANHATTAN -- Amanda B. Hogue, Wichita, has been selected to give the student address at the Kansas State University College of Human Ecology commencement ceremony at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, in McCain Auditorium.
Hogue will graduate with a bachelor of science in hotel and restaurant management and minors in business administration and leadership studies.
At K-State, she is a teacher assistant for the Principles of Convention, Meeting and Event Management class, was music co-chair on the Student Union Program Council and was a School of Leadership Studies student ambassador. This summer she was an event planning intern for the Country Stampede in Manhattan.
Hogue is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association and Eta Sigma Delta honorary. She is the daughter of Craig and Tammy Hogue, Wichita, and a 2007 graduate of Wichita Northwest High School.
