Replay the season: Annual concert of the Pride of Wildcate Land features music from halftime shows
MANHATTAN -- Catch the music of the Kansas State University Marching Band's halftime performances this football season at the band's annual concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, in Ahearn Field House. The concert is free and the public is invited.
The performance will include "American Bandstand," "Twist and Shout," "Sweet Caroline," "Climb Every Mountain" and "Stars and Stripes Forever."
"The marching band concert is a wonderful way to replay the season and bring all those great musical memories back one more time," said Frank Tracz, director of bands at K-State. "It's also a great way for mom, dad, grandma and grandpa to see their child in action at a very close distance."
Marching band merchandise and gear will also be sold at the event. Sweatshirts, pants, T-shirts, hats and hoodies will be on sale near the first-floor entrance. Selling the merchandise will be Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma. CDs and DVDs of the year's performances will be available to order as well.
