Award-winning Broadway, TV star Kristin Chenoweth appearing Oct. 2 at McCain Auditorium

MANHATTAN — Spend an evening with Emmy Award- and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth as part of Kansas State University's McCain Performance Series. Chenoweth will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, in McCain Auditorium.
Chenoweth's career spans film, television, voiceover and stage. She received an Emmy Award for best supporting actress in a comedy series for her work on the ABC series "Pushing Daisies." More recently, Chenoweth was seen as April Rhodes, the quirky ex-songstress, on Fox's hit comedy "Glee." Her portrayal of Rhodes earned Chenoweth two Emmy nominations and a People's Choice Award nomination.
Chenoweth has been seen in such hit television shows such as "The West Wing," "American Idol" and "Project Runway." She also has starred on Broadway as Glinda the Good Witch in "Wicked," which earned her a Tony Award nomination, and "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown," for which she won a Tony Award.
