Family musical 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' coming to McCain Auditorium

MANHATTAN — The biblical tale of Joseph and the coat of many colors is coming to Kansas State University's McCain Performance Series with the production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, in McCain Auditorium.
Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" is a family musical about the trials and triumphs of Joseph, Israel's favorite son. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Andy Blankenbuehler, this new production is a reimagining of the biblical story of Joseph, his 11 brothers and the coat of many colors. The musical includes songs such as "Go, Go, Go, Joseph," "Any Dream Will Do" and "Close Every Door."
