Dania Vieira Branco Ozorio
Dania is originally from south Brazil. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Agronomy (2016) and her master’s degree in crop protection (2018) both from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Her project focused on behavior of predator insects to improve methods of biological control of pests, and also involved plant virus characterization detection using Real-time PCR. Dania visited UNL in 2019/2020 for a short-term scholar program in the Entomology and Agronomy and Horticulture departments. Currently, she is a research technologist in the Root and Soil Microbiome lab. Outside of work, She enjoys exploring, riding her bike, running and climbing. She also likes reading on an easy Sunday morning while drinking her mate
